One of the biggest fashion mistakes that we see when we’re out and about on the street — fashionably dressed, of course! — is that people often go overboard with color. Now, don’t get us wrong here — we love color. We think color is wonderful. But you need to make sure that you’re going to actually be able to use color to your advantage, rather than just splashing it everywhere. Now is the time to really think about the colors that you use, instead of just rushing in to wear something.

Fashion is planned — anyone that tells you otherwise is just fooling themselves. If you really want to rock a style, you need to think ahead of time. Toning down color by balancing it with neutral tones is one way to achieve your point. Other people like to wear a solid outfit and save the color for the accessories. That’s one way to do things.

There’s nothing that says that you have to take our ideas to heart, but if you feel stuck in your current style and you need some inspiration, you might want to look into playing with color a little more or a little less depending on what you already do now.

The perfect time to change your style might never come, so you have to take each moment and build on it. You have to take each day in life to do the things that matter and go from there. You have to decide if fashion is important to you. Sure, if fashion isn’t important to you then it really doesn’t matter. On the other hand, if you know that you want to be as stylish as possible, then you’re going to need to put some thought into it.
